Durable Power of Attorney:

See Session & Pricing Below:

As the most important tool in any estate plan, a Durable Power of Attorney allows a trusted individual, or joint individuals, to make financial decisions on your behalf in the event you are ever unable to do so during your lifetime.

A Durable Power of Attorney can help you plan ahead for your financial needs if ever in the event of a medical emergency or declining mental capacity.

Examples include:

  • Paying your bills, mortgage, cable bill, etc.

  • Maintain your property(s) and financial affairs.

  • Pay taxes, property taxes, IRS representation.

  • Choreograph medical expenses (excluding medical decisions).

  • Hire (or fire) professionals to aid your assets or wellbeing such as attorneys, CPAs, real estate agents, etc.

  • Maintaining accounts, financial assets, investments etc.

  • Vehicle transfer or apply for an ADA compliant vehicle.

  • The purchase, sale, or renting of any property to maintain or increase funds for your estate.

Although a Durable Power of Attorney grants an array of authority, your Agent or Agents may ONLY exercise this authority for your best interest and are not granted access to benefit themselves, further protecting your estate. Your Agent has the authority to serve your best interest and maintain your standard of living or higher. This Instrument does not overlap medical decision, rather a Healthcare Directive outlines your medical decisions.
